Ordering food when you can't read the menu
Many restaurants use table QR codes for ordering. Combine photo menus, a translation app and a few phrases and you'll eat very well.

Table QR ordering
Scan the code on your table with Alipay or WeChat, pick dishes from the photo menu, and pay in the app. Use your phone camera's translate feature on the screen if needed.
Delivery to your hotel
Meituan and Ele.me deliver food, groceries and medicine fast. The interfaces are Chinese, so many visitors use the mini-program inside Alipay with screen translation.
- Check with your hotel's front desk where delivery riders should drop off.
